Gateway Terminal owns and operates its own deep-water marine facility centrally located in Connecticut's New Haven Harbor between New York and Boston harbors. In addition to corporate Headquarters being located on site, Gateway Terminal operates three (3) deep-water ship berths and two (2) barge berths capable of loading/discharging both dry and liquid cargoes, a 650,000 barrel capacity Petroleum Tank Farm, a 27,000 ton capacity Concrete storage Silos for cement, a heavy equipment maintenance garage and an on dock storage yard of 150,000 square feet.

Berths
Gateway Terminal operates three (3) main dry and liquid berths for ships and two (2) berths for barges.

Our 650,000 barrel Petroleum Tank Farm consists of seven (7) major above ground on site storage tanks.

Storage Yards
Gateway Terminal has over 60 acres of land available for both long term and short term storage as deemed necessary for the transshipment of our customers cargoes.

In addition, Gateway Terminal operates several off dock storage and Intermodal yards exceeding 60 acres. Overall, our marine facility enables us to offer our customers complete door to door, one port throughput service for all their shipping needs. Having the diversity of direct vessel throughput, and on dock trucking and rail capability allows Gateway Terminal to meet and exceed our customers expectations for on time delivery of all their cargoes.
