Gateway Terminal has over 60 acres of land available for both long term and short term storage as deemed necessary for the transshipment of our customers cargoes. We store in excess of up to 1/2 million tons of various products for our customers year round at our facility in our various storage yards. Products, such as salt, are trucked to all of Connecticut's DOT facilities as requested. Aggregates, coal, steel billets, scrap metal and pumice are a few of the commodities Gateway Terminal stores and then delivers to our customers final destination via truck, rail or barge within the Northeast, Midwest and Eastern Canada.
