Intermodal Yard in Connecticut

Gateway Terminal operates the only true intermodal yard in the state of Connecticut.

Working directly with Providence & Worcester R.R., Gateway Terminal offers the State of Connecticut's only intermodal rail facility. Situated directly at the dock and on 12 acres of land adjacent to our terminal, we handle over half a million tons of dry and general cargo annually. Connecting with the other main rail centers within New England, we can move your cargo anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
