Working directly with Providence & Worcester R.R., Gateway Terminal offers the State of Connecticut's only intermodal rail facility. Situated on 12 acres of land adjacent to our terminal, we handle over half a million tons of dry and general cargo annually. Sand, coal, aggregate, pumice, and steel billets are some of the commodities we store and move via truck and rail offering direct intermodal capability to our customers. Connecting with the other main rail centers within New England, we can move your cargo anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
